A British actor, whose best known television roles were as supporting characters in Leonard Rossiter sitcom vehicle The Rise and Fall of Reginald Perrin (1976-1979) and nautical drama Howard’s Way (1985-1987). Bruce Bould had appeared in several comedy and drama series before these two, including episodes of Z Cars (1972), Thirty Minute Theatre (1972-1973), Van der Valk (1973), The Good Life (1975) and The New Avengers (1976). Other notable small screen roles included episodes of such popular series as Coronation Street (1978), To the Manor Born (1981), Shelley (1982-1983), Shine on Harvey Moon (1984) and Drop the Dead Donkey (1993).
