An American actor best known for his iconic turn in the camp classic series Batman (1966-1968), West’s take on The Caped Crusader loomed large over every later interpretation and also largely typecast the actor. He became known to a new generation for his voice performance as Mayor Adam West in Family Guy (2000-2017).
