A showcase of three TV comedy script extracts by emerging UK writing talent, selected by an industry jury.

Industry guests are producer and former Deputy Head of Comedy at Channel 4, Nerys Evans, and writer Holly Walsh (Motherland, Dead Boss) who will critique three winning scripts performed by professional actors in front of a live audience as well as sharing insights into their own working processes.

The format selects three ten minute script extracts from applications sent in by emerging writing talent from all over the country and the pieces have been chosen by industry experts.

STEVE WHYLEY & MICHAEL WHEELER | LUNCH BREAK
Three work colleagues escape the office at lunch to their favourite park bench where they question their lives and try not to kill each other. 

FRANCESCA FOWLER & KATIE REDFORD | DAISY AND ROBBIE STRUGGLE TO SURVIVE
Daisy & Robbie Struggle to Survive centres around two chalk-and-cheese friends who find themselves face to face with death every weekend.
