New CBBC 3-part drama adapted from Jacqueline Wilson’s novel about an adventurous young girl who experiences a life changing incident. Followed by Q&A hosted by Lindsey Russell with Dame Jacqueline Wilson, director John McKay and cast Chloe Lea, Jack Carroll and Ruth Madeley.

Adapted by Tom Bidwell and directed by John MacKay, Katy tells the story of a big-hearted, and wilful eleven year-old. Grounded by her stepmother in the summer before starting secondary school, Katy sneaks out to a neighbour’s garden, only to fall from a rope swing and suffer a spinal cord injury. Unable to walk again, Katy’s life is turned upside down. The series follows her struggle to come to terms with this massive change in her life.
