Princess Anne Theatre, BAFTA, 195 Piccadilly, London, W1J 9LN
Brand new tween drama on Sky Kids following the journey of a young woman who moves from modelling to art school. Followed by Q&A hosted by Arielle Free with creator/lead writer Holly Phillips, director Isabelle Sieb and cast members.

Bryncoed Productions’ first young adult commission follows the journey of Nyela Malik (Ella Balinska), a young model whose career implodes when she complains about a famous designer treating her like an object.  Nyela decides she wants to design her own clothes rather than wear other people’s and wins a place at The Athena, London’s most prestigious art school.  The Athena is full of creative, ambitious students – photographers, costume designers, graphic artists, fashion designers – all intent on pursuing their dreams at any cost.  Nyela faces new challenges whilst being pulled back into her old life by her model friends Miju (Alice Hewkin) and Lexy (Sophie Robertson).

BAFTA Kids went behind the scenes with the pilot which had the working title of Nyela’s Dream.  Watch here.

Cast members will be available for autographs following the screening.
