Wendi Tang is a Chinese writer/director and producer currently based in Los Angeles. She is a graduate of NYU’s BFA-BS dual-degree program. Wendi’s work focuses on character-driven stories that explore various corners of female narratives. Her short films have been selected by numerous film festivals worldwide and won several Best Short Film and Best Director awards.

Wendi's short film THE STORM was supported by the NYC Women’s Fund. She is a 2022 Sundance Uprise Grant Fund Finalist and her upcoming project, FISHTANK, is the winner at the 8th Tribeca Chanel Through Her Lens program.
