Zahraa Shams | The Taffner Family Charitable Trust Scholarship

Zahraa Shams is a Bahraini Filmmaker & Creative Director who pursued her BFA in Directing for Film & Television in Paris, France, as well as an MFA in The City College of New York.

Shams's work creates contrast between modern and traditional cultures as it is influenced by the traditional richness and diversity of the stories of the people & communities living on the tiny Island of Bahrain, yet presented in a western style, influenced by her life abroad.
