Roxanne McKenzie | BAFTA Scholarship

Roxanne McKenzie, 28, from Wolverhampton West Midlands is awarded £5,000 to help support her for the MA in Multimedia Journalism at Bournemouth University. Roxanne is being mentored by BAFTA Breakthrough Brit 2018, Annie Price.

Since graduating from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Media and communications, she has contributed to multiple online and print media and news platforms providing the latest in pop-culture and local news, building her portfolio.

Roxanne said: “I am astounded with joy to be awarded a BAFTA scholarship. I am conscious that with this help a weight has been lifted off my shoulders, which will allow me to focus solely on completing my training to the best of my ability. It has been a long journey for me and I have great aspiration but to be given such an opportunity solidifies my achievements thus far and reaffirms that I am heading in the right direction. Thank you BAFTA!”
