Natasha Frank | Pigott/BAFTA Scholarship

Natasha is an multi award-winning composer, conductor and orchestrator from London based in San Francisco. She is a second time recipient of the Pigott/BAFTA Scholarship. Since graduating from the University of Oxford in 2019, she has composed incessantly for film and theatre. Including a ballet of the Snow Queen, the documentary feature We Made It: dir. Megan Schowalter and Mystery of Love: an Agnes Maska Film . Natasha has also had concert music debuted throughout the USA and Europe; including at the St. Petersburg State Capella.

I am tremendously grateful to have been awarded the Pigott/ BAFTA scholarship for the second year in a row. Mr Pigott and BAFTA’s support have been indispensable in my path as a media composer, allowing me to develop my compositional voice and further hone my craft. It is an ongoing joy to be a part of the warm and historical community that is BAFTA and I look forward to the year to come!

Natasha is also the winner of the Track15 Film Scoring Contest and a Genelec Prize winner. She has had masterclasses with industry moguls such as Tina Guo and Tim Davies as well as enjoyed close mentorship from composers Nick Kenworthy-Browne and Daria Novoliantceva. With Ms Novoliantceva she has taken part in a number of projects at Novo Music with clients such as Meta and Sony.
