JJ Fox | Prince William Scholarship

JJ Fox, 25, from Chadlington, Oxfordshire has been awarded £12,000 to fund their MA in Game Design and Development at NFTS. JJ is being mentored by Anna Hollinrake.

I will take full advantage of this opportunity to realise my dream games and inspire a new generation to come

Before enrolling at NFTS, they studied for a BA in Interactive Animation at SAE Institute Oxford and worked remotely as a 3D Animator and concept artist for Project Cybertronic with a Europe-wide community called Redhead Game Society. Currently, they still work with the group while the game is in pre-development and the early access to the game is now on Steam.

JJ said: "After hearing that BAFTA and Warner Bros wanted to back me up, it was beyond my wildest dreams, and I cannot thank them enough. Receiving professional support through the Prince William Scholarship is a tremendous honour, and it convinces me that my experience and creative vision are my best assets. With the confidence from BAFTA and Warner Bros seeing potential in me, I will take full advantage of this opportunity to realise my dream games and inspire a new generation to come."

JJ is receiving a Prince William Scholarship in Film, Games and Television, supported by BAFTA and Warner Bros.
