BAFTA has already played such a big part in my filmmaking journey. From attending their inspiring Guru weekends to being part of the BAFTA Crew. I’m honoured they want to support my development further.

In 2016, Harry made 12 short films in 12 months. In 2017 he wrote & directed a six-part comedy web series called Early Days and released each episode weekly across all social media platforms. The series garnered 90,000+ views on Facebook alone and screened at multiple festivals. Most recently, Harry was commissioned by the BFI Network in lockdown to make his film Just Because It’s Cinema Doesn’t Mean It’s Not Real and his 2020 short, Living The Dream, premiered at the BAFTA-qualifying Bolton Film Festival.

Harry said: “To be awarded a BAFTA scholarship is simply life-changing. To be able to spend two years full-time studying Directing Fiction at the National Film & Television School will take my understanding and execution of the craft to a whole other level. BAFTA has already played such a big part in my filmmaking journey. From attending their inspiring Guru weekends to being part of the BAFTA Crew. I’m honoured they want to support my development further. I’m so excited to start at the NFTS and work as hard as I can to become the best director I can be.”
