Halima Moushimi is awarded the BAFTA Scholarship to support her continued studies in BA Game Art and Design at the University of Hertfordshire. Born in Sunamganj, Bangladesh, Halima's hard-working father immigrated their family to the UK for a better life and opportunities. Surrounded by art and creativity from a young age, she found solace in constant drawing, dreaming that her art would one day inspire others as it had inspired her. Halima is wholeheartedly committed to pursuing her goals and honing her skills to expand her creative toolkit. With the support of the BAFTA Scholarship, she envisions a future where her passion for art will transcend boundaries and leave an indelible mark on the world.

I am profoundly grateful and honoured to be chosen as a BAFTA Scholar, an extraordinary opportunity that has lifted the constraints on my studies and career ambitions. With access to a mentor and unwavering support from BAFTA, I am now empowered to pursue my passions without limitations, I am now driven to further my artistic skills and expand my creative library. This scholarship has alleviated my financial burdens, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for this life-changing gift.
