Eloise Millard | UK Scholar

Eloise Millard, aged 22 from Blackpool will receive £9,000 to study for the MA in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Sheffield. Eloise is being mentored by Chris Shaw.

Eloise graduated from the University of Warwick earlier this year with a BA in English Literature. During her time at Warwick, Eloise edited the comment section of The Boar, the university’s award-winning student newspaper, and launched her own weekly radio talk show and podcast, Anonecdotes. She has completed work placements with a variety of media outlets, including regional newspapers, BBC Radio 4 and the Times Educational supplement.

“I have a passion for people; I spend a lot of time just talking to them and learning about their culture, history and lives. With the BAFTA scholarship, I will study a course that equips me with the theoretical and practical knowledge to work on journalistic documentaries so I can tell the stories that matter.”
