Ragini Bhasin is a writer/director of South Asian heritage currently residing in Los Angeles. A graduate of Chapman University, she has made award-winning films like 'Ghazaal' and 'Las Escondidas', which have played numerous Oscar-qualifying festivals worldwide. Her film was also featured in the Wrap's Shortfilmfestival and distributed by the German ARTE channel in Europe, ShortsTV, Argo Channel and PBS. She is also the recipient of the Meredith Macrae Memorial Award by WIF, the Maya Deren Short Film Innovation Prize by Femme Filmmakers, BAFTA Newcomers Program 2021, The Sundance Institute | Starlight Media’s Star Collective Program, an Alliance For Women In Media Mentee 2021, and the winner of the CAPE x Janet Yang Productions’ Short Film Challenge.  

Currently, she directs unscripted digital series that garner millions of views for Jubilee Media’s Youtube channel.
