Nick Finegan

PIGOTT | BAFTA SCHOLAR 2021

Nick Finegan is an actor, director, maker and writer. Nick has worked in venues internationally - including the National Theatre, Bristol Old Vic, The Yard Theatre, National Theatre of Denmark, Battersea Arts Centre, Pleasance Edinburgh and MOMA Warsaw. Nick’s first short film ‘The Swimming Club’ was supported by DAZED and the UN Association and screened at BFI Southbank as part of ‘We The Peoples’ Film Festival. Nick’s theatre and performance have been staged and unleashed at venues across Europe including Camden People’s Theatre, The Yard, Toynbee Studios, Latitude Festival, Edinburgh Fringe, Godsbanen Aarhus.

Nick hopes to to setup a production company that supports LGBTQi+ creatives, both in front of and behind the camera. Nick hopes to help shape the UK film landscape to reflect the diversity of the queer community in London- helping to create the “more inclusive industry.”
