SECOND YEAR

Luna Franco is from Sylmar, California and is currently enrolled at Loyola Marymount University where she is pursuing a degree in Film and TV Production. 

“For me this means the world, when I got the news I was literally left speechless. It just feels like a new world of opportunities has opened up to me and I'm excited for what's to come.”

Luna isn’t quite sure what job she would like to have in the future, but she is certain that she would like to have a career in Film or Television one day. She is passionate about Film and knows that she wants to be a part of making movie magic in the future.

Luna’s biggest inspiration in the industry is Raphael Bob-Waksberg, the creator of BoJack Horseman, a show that “shook her world.” Luna is inspired by the way the show was able to cover a broad spectrum of emotions and stories that had her in deep thought one moment and laughing the next.

“I am a storyteller who hopes to bring some changes and new ideas to the industry, who also hopes to experiment along the way and try new styles of things like editing, sound designing, or writing. Aside from wanting to bring new stories, I also hope to tell stories to me and that can connect to someone out there.”
