Liz Lorie is a screenwriter and producer from Toronto, Canada. Her screenplays have been finalists in several screenwriting competitions including the Academy’s Nicholl Fellowship and she has produced projects that have screened at top tier film festivals.

Over the course of her career, Liz has had the pleasure to work on Defending Jacob, Slow Horses, News of the World, Awkwafina is Nora from Queens and the upcoming Untitled Sisters Project starring Awkwafina, Sandra Oh, and Will Ferrell. She has worked at Anonymous Content, Amazing Studios, Pretty Pictures and Artists First.

Prior to moving to LA to complete her MFA in USC’s Peter Stark Producing program, Liz earned her BA in English Honours at UBC and her MA in English literature at McGill University.
