THIRD YEAR – NEW YORK

Jade Edwards is an English-Irish writer/director. Her feature script CICADA was Faculty Selects winner at Columbia University’s Film Festival and was selected to participate in Cine Qua Non’s 2021 Script Revision Lab. Her pilot script HEAD FIRST was the winner of Showtime's Tony Cox 30-Minute Comedy Episodic Competition.

She is a graduate of NYU's Tisch School of the Arts where she obtained a B.F.A. in Film Production with a double minor in Entertainment Business from Stern School of Business. She was a scholarship recipient and directing fellow of Columbia University's Screenwriting / Directing M.F.A. program where she graduated with honors.  

Jade started her film career as a Creative Executive for Pandemic Film and co-produced their debut feature film starring Jeremy Irons. She was a writing fellow for Dynamic Television, and most recently worked as a writing assistant on an Untitled Apple TV + show.
