Graduate of the National Film and Television School (UK), and established documentary talent, Emily James is known for her creative and inventive storytelling and a lightness of touch. A string of broadcast successes for Channel 4, Discovery, A&E and the BBC marked her out as a talent to watch from early on - the Guardian declaring, “Emily James is a genius, and will, in time, be revered as a television innovator”.
A true original, Emily’s work defies easy categorization and has always been very hybrid in nature, blurring genre boundaries. She is currently looking to move further into drama and comedy directing, and is currently in post-production on a multi-episodic comedy web series entitled Coronaville, produced and set in the covid lock-down.
