Grace Ofori-Attah

Grace started writing at university, where she read Medicine at Cambridge and Oxford, before discovering the joys of screenwriting. She was the first ever Writer’s Apprentice for Carnival Films and was selected for the Channel 4 4Screenwriting course in 2017. That same year, she was included on the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist as a writer to watch.

She has written and co-written multiple episodes of Idris Elba’s comedy series, In the Long Run (Green Door Pictures/Sprout Pictures/Sky One), across all three seasons to date, and was story supervisor for the last two. She also has a writing credit for a 2019 episode of Urban Myths (2LE Media/Sky Arts) about singer Grace Jones, entitled ‘Grace Under Pressure’. The most significant recent development in her career was creating her own original series, Malpractice (World Productions/ITV), starring double BAFTA nominee Niamh Algar. The five-part thriller aired in April 2023 and earned fantastic reviews from The Guardian, Telegraph and The Times, among others.

Grace is currently working on several script commissions with the likes of Rabbit Track, Gaumont, Carnival Films and Tiger Aspect.
