Following that, Clare developed her own series concept and pilot, which she sold to Miramax. She then spent the following years writing and developing television shows in Los Angeles. In 2018, Clare wrote for  Impulse (NBCU/YouTube Premium), a coming-of-age drama series directed by Doug Liman. More recently, Clare has written on The Elect (House Productions/ITV), an adaptation of a Japanese detective story, and season three of Gangs of London (Pulse/Sky). She also has a co-writer credit for an episode of crime thriller Six Four (House Productions/ITVX) and has been part of the writers’ room for forthcoming real-time thriller Nightsleeper (Euston/BBC).

Alongside various other projects, she is currently developing her debut show with BAFTA-winning director Georgi Banks-Davies. It’s an adaptation of We Go Around in the Night and Are Consumed By Fire, with Hillbilly Productions.
