Ashish Dawar is a seasoned cinematographer with further expertise in virtual productions and LED volume tech. He is actively chasing stories that connect with the truth within and device the most authentic way to bind with, and elevate an audience that truly transcends the screen.

Dawar moved from Mumbai to LA to study cinematography at AFI. The first narrative feature he shot, Under the Same Sun, went on to premiere at the Mill Valley Film Festival and win multiple awards. Over the past decade, his credits include on-set virtual production work for One Perfect Shot (WB Horizon) and VFX supervision for Dead to Me (Netflix) and Hacks (HBOmax). Specializing in VFX cinematography and post color, Dawar has been lately developing virtual production and LED volume on-set workflows for CBSVFX at Paramount Studios. To unwind, he enjoys classical music and seeks the quiet with long hikes or a morning paddle boarding.
