Angolan born British actress & writer Ailema De Sousa trained & performed with the National Youth Theater in England and graduated from the renowned Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (2016). Winner of ‘The Most Promising Playwright’ award at the Los Angeles Fringe festival (2018), Ailema debuted her first full length staged play ‘Fort Huachuca’ at the SheLA festival.

She also starred in the award winning series The Crown (2020). Ailema also starred in Gliding (2020) which is an official selection at the Lighthouse International Film Festival and at the Oscar & Bafta qualifying Kurzfilmtage Winterthur film festival (Nov, 2021). Including the BIFA qualifying Little Wing film festival (2022) & the KINEKO International film festival in Japan (2022) and more recently at the Film Bath festival (2022).
