The BAFTA New York Digital and Social Media Committee launched its inaugural breakfast series on Thursday April 21, 2016 to great success. Those who attended had very positive feedback on the format, the content…and the coffee!
Megan Cunningham, the CEO of Magnet Media, was our first featured guest. Megan is an expert and trailblazer in the world of creative content in the digital landscape. Susan Margolin, a BAFTA New York board member, was our moderator and talked to Megan about producing, leveraging and distributing content across social/mobile/video/web.
The options and opportunities are increasing while at the same time the big bucks can be harder to land. Branded content (a soon-to-be announced panel evening by the Digital and Social Media Committee) could have taken up the whole hour alone. All in all a great start to a great series from BAFTA New York.
