We have been closely monitoring and evaluating the COVID-19 outbreak and its potential impact on our BAFTA programs and activity here in the US. In light of the rapidly changing situation, we have made the difficult decision to pause our screening and in-person event programming until further notice in both Los Angeles and New York.
The wellbeing of our event attendees and program participants remains a top priority, and as we are a small team, we want to ensure we are still able to support our members and community.
While we may not be getting together in person at events for the time being, we will be inviting you to join us in other ways:
- We will continue to publish new digital content to watch online
- We will soon launch the first judging stages of the GSA BAFTA Student Film Awards. This year’s entries from around the world will be available to watch online and we hope you will take the opportunity to view exciting work from the next generation of new talent.
- We are exploring options to host some of our upcoming events digitally, should the need arise and will be in touch very soon with further updates on all of these opportunities.
We will be in touch very soon with our members and friends with further updates.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and we look forward to resuming our in-person event programming as soon as we are able.
