Edd Howarth is a screenwriter from Cornwall and is currently based in Los Angeles, where he is completing his MFA from Boston University. Edd previously received a BA in English from the University of Plymouth, and then an MA in English from Longwood University, Virginia, where he taught literature for several years. His screenplays have placed in national and international competitions, and he has published over a dozen short stories. He is absolutely thrilled to receive this award, which will go toward completing his studies.
