On 23 October 2014, Emmy award-winning TV producer and director Stephanie Laing joined the BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum reviewed the work of emerging British comedy writers at the New York Television Festival (NYTVF). Laing led a masterclass during which she offered feedback on participants' written work from live performances of the scenes.
Emmy award-winning TV producer and director, Stephanie Laing, reviewed the work of emerging British comedy writers at a BAFTA Rocliffe New Writing Forum event that was held at the New York Television Festival (NYTVF) on 23 October 2014. Laing has produced some of the most popular series on HBO including the award winning comedy Veep, starring Julia Louis Dreyfus and the 2013 drama Banshee. Laing was also the executive producer on the HBO comedy Eastbound and Down, starring Danny McBride. In 1997, Laing won a Primetime Emmy Award for her role as a producer on Tracey Takes On.
