A versatile actor, Postlethwaite was BAFTA nominated for a clutch of television roles but was more widely known for movie work including In The Name of The Father (1993), The Usual Suspects (1995) , Brassed Off (1996), The Lost World (1997) and more recently Inception (2010) and The Town (2010).
