Cast as wayward teenager Lucille Hewitt in Coronation Street in 1960, Moss played the character for 14 years, making over 700 appearances. She also starred in the film Live It Up (1963), but her post Street career featured only occasional appearances in such shows as Help! (1986) and Bread (1988).
