A South African born actress who worked extensively in theatre, film and television in Britain, Lowe was cast as a Nazi officer in the wartime adventure Where Eagles Dare (1968), had a role in Carry On Abroad (1972) and featured in the television spin-off Steptoe and Son Ride Again (1973).
