Peter Hammond

As an actor Hammond was familiar for his recurring role in the popular Huggetts films beginning with Holiday Camp (1947). Moving behind the camera he directed television hits including The Avengers (1965)and the feature Spring and Port Wine (1970). He won a BAFTA in 1965 for The Count of Monte Cristo, Contract to Kill, Hereward the Wake, I Took My World Away and Ambrose.
