Anne Froelich

A writer who began her career with Orson Welles’ Mercury Theatre Company, Froelich wrote such screenplays as Shining Victory (1941) with Howard Koch, Easy Come, Easy Go (1947) and the Joan Crawford vehicle Harriet Craig (1950) with James Gunn, before her career was prematurely cut short by the McCarthy witch-hunts.
