A respected managing director of photo agency Camera Press, Eldridge’s origins as a magazine journalist nurtured a writing talent unconfined by those glossy pages. He saw his screenplay Losing Track turned into a well received BBC Screen One drama in 1992, and also published a pair of science fiction novels.
