Nicholas Courtney

A character actor active on television, Courtney was best known for his recurring role as Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart in several series of Doctor Who beginning in 1968, enjoying particular prominence alongside Jon Pertwee’s Doctor, during the following decade and beyond. He enjoyed a swansong appearance in The Sarah Jane Adventures (2008).
