Along with Gary Gygax, Arneson was responsible for creating the fantasy role play game Dungeons & Dragons which spawned several versions over multiple generations through a variety of media. He subsequently established the computer company 4D Interactive Systems, developing games and educational software, and later founded the company Adventure Games.
