A long serving BBC producer, Abrahams covered World Cups and Olympics and worked for many years as a producer of Match of the Day. As well as devising the format for Around With Alliss, he introduced Fleetwood Mac song The Chain as the theme for the corporation’s Formula 1 coverage.
