Hilary Bevan Jones

Hilary joined BAFTA in 1994 and has served as a Council member since 1999. In 2004 she was appointed Chair of the Television Committee and in 2006 she became the first woman in the Academy’s history to hold the position of Academy Chair.

As a successful producer Hilary has worked on a number of ground breaking and influential drama series including Cracker, Red Dwarf and State of Play. In 2006 she won a Primetime Emmy for the acclaimed HBO film The Girl in the Café. Hilary co-founded Endor Productions in 1994 where she continues to work on a high profile slate of TV and film projects. Recent highlights include Roald Dahl's Esio Trot starring Oscar winning actors Judi Dench and Dustin Hoffman.
