Released in 1976, Bugsy Malone marked a huge moment of renewed energy and confidence in British cinema and launched an extraordinary number of stellar careers. We celebrated the the 40th anniversary the BAFTA-winning film with a special screening and discussion with a host of cast and creatives: writer/director Sir Alan Parker, actors Dexter Fletcher (Baby Face), Graham Fletcher (Irving), Bonnie Langford (Lena Marelli), Vivienne McKone (Velma), Paul Murphy (Leroy Smith), Andrew Paul (O’Dreary), Sheridan Earl Russell (Knuckles), Nick Taylor (Boxer) and Donald Waugh (Snake Eyes).
