Little White Lies is the story of a Swansea family, based on a play by Helen Griffin and is the only British movie in the competition’s top ten.
Produced by John Giwa-Amu, it also stars Sara Gregory and Jonathan Owen, who has previously appeared in Shameless and BAFTA Cymru Award-winning film in 2010, A Bit of Tom Jones.
If the film stays at the top of the Amazon Studios download chart it will win $100,000 (£62,500), go to the final for the $1 million prize, and be shown to Warner Bros under a “first look” deal!
