Precious Assah - Winner 2023 (age 15-18)

Precious won the 15-18 category in 2023 and is now a first year journalism student at De Montfort University, Leicester.  To support her studies, Precious has been given exclusive meet and greets with broadcast journalists and presenters at BAFTA events and during her hosting duties at the Cheltenham Literature Festival. 

Precious also hosted Children’s Mental Health Week content talking with Taz Skylar and Will Gao and was a co-host of the Young BAFTA Showcase at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly. She will soon be attending the 2024 BAFTA TV Awards and other events to interview talent and represent BAFTA.
