On Sunday 10 May 2015, BAFTA celebrated a year of top quality TV at our annual BAFTA Television Awards ceremony. The Awards show was held in London and was hosted by comedian Graham Norton.
An array of television stars attended the event, including Sir David Attenborough, Game of Thrones star Maisie Williams, Downton Abby Actor Hugh Bonneville and Late Late Show host James Corden.
Awards were handed out across various categories such as Leading Actress and Actor, News Coverage and Drama Series. In the International category, the BAFTA was awarded to True Detective, which stars Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson as two Louisiana detectives in their 17-year pursuit of a brutal killer. The Radio Times Audience Award, which is the only award voted for by the public, was won by Sherlock.
