Tracy Ifeachor

Tracy Ifeachor is a trained actor and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience working across theatre, film, television, and games. In 2021, Tracy became one of the first dark skinned actresses ever to play the lead of a series on one of Britain’s oldest channels. For this, she was nominated for the Royal Television Society Award for BEST ACTOR for her portrayal of Cleo in BBC One’s Showtrial, a five-part crime drama from the producers of Line of Duty and Bodyguard. In 2022, Tracy received the Fellowship Award from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama (RCSSD) for her services to students at the school

Tracy is passionate about championing the next generation of artists, helping them to train and sustain themselves in the industry. She is a founding member of the Independent Equality Committee, a committee created in 2020 to help specific institutions create a fully inclusive and post-colonial education system for actors and theatre practitioners whilst studying.

Tracy is a member of several mentoring programmes which help change mindsets and empower the next generation of artists to safely transition into the industry, after studying their craft. She helps fundraise as an alumnus of RCSSD and she regularly gives workshops and sits on the entrance audition panels for drama schools, helping to ensure representation and support new and emerging talent, at a grass roots level. To that end, Tracy is also a proud member of BAFTA’s North America’s Learning Talent and Inclusion committee (LIT) and enjoys helping to inspire young creatives behind the cameras as well as in front of them.

Her notable credits include; Treason (Netflix), Mayflies (BBC1), Treadsone (Amazon Prime), a US action series based on the Bourne film series, DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow, The Originals (CW) and Strike Back (HBO). Tracy also appeared in BBC1’s Doctor Who in 2009, starring opposite David Tennant in his final episodes as The Doctor in The End Of Time. Her theatre Credits include; Sir Richard Eyre’s Welcome To Thebes (NT), Raisin in the Sun (Royal Exchange), Noughts & Crosses (Royal Shakespeare Company) and her portrayal as Rosalind, in Shakespeare’s As You Like It earned her an Ian Charleson Award Nomination

When in the US, Tracy enjoys volunteering and supporting Fathers Heart Soup kitchen, Pantry, and homeless education programme. Helping families who have fallen on hard times, is something she really got into during lockdown, and she continues this meaningful work to this day. Tracy also founded and runs the 17-year-old corporate roleplay company, Simulate Roleplay. A company designed to support client facing professionals, in their respective industries, train through simulated roleplays. Most importantly to Tracy, Simulate Roleplay helps provides an income for resting actors, ensuring that artists from all backgrounds can afford to remain in the industry and keep making great art. One of Tracy’s main focuses is supporting and enhancing the voice and work of the fledgling artist.
