Betsy Rodgers

Betsy Rodgers is currently Senior Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs at AMC Networks, Inc. where she heads up the Business and Legal Affairs department for the Film Division at AMC Networks, which includes the film distribution labels IFC Films, IFC Midnight, RLJE Films, and Shudder; the production finance company IFC Productions; and the NYC arthouse movie theater the IFC Center along with its annual documentary festival DOC NYC. Prior to her current role, Betsy was a senior attorney in Rainbow Media’s National Services group and advised the AMC, WE tv, and IFC television network businesses in addition to IFC Entertainment. Before joining Rainbow Media/AMCN, she was a corporate attorney at the law firm Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP where her focus was on mergers and acquisitions, securities, and private equity transactions. Betsy is a graduate of Princeton University and the University of Texas School of Law, and in addition to her position on the Board of Directors of BAFTA North America, she is also a member of BAFTA, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and the Television Academy.
