On Friday 10 June 2022 we were honoured to welcome acclaimed actor and screenwriter Dame Emma Thompson (Sense and Sensibility, Saving Mr. Banks, Love Actually) for a pre-release screening of Good Luck to You, Leo Grande at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly, followed by a Q&A and Champagne Taittinger reception.

The award-winning actor was also joined by her co-star Daryl McCormack, writer Katy Brand and director Sophie Hyde, hosted by Briony Hanson (British Council’s Director of Film). This intimate experience gave Academy Circle Patrons an exclusive insight into the making of the film and a unique opportunity to chat with those involved.
