A preview of the new six-part Channel 4 comedy drama followed by a Q+A with the creative team.

The series follows Marnie (Charly Clive) who’s caught in the grip of an undiagnosed form of obsessive compulsive disorder – a form of OCD nicknamed ‘pure O’ – where her obsessions take the form of intrusive thoughts, often sexual. On the day of her parents’ 25th wedding anniversary things reach a peak and at breaking point, she packs a bag and jumps on a coach to London. But in the capital, Marnie soon discovers she’s not the only one who’s lost…

Written by newcomer Kirstie Swain and based on Rose Cartwright’s acclaimed memoir, the lead director is BAFTA-nominated Aneil Karia and the cast includes Charly Clive, Joe Cole (Peaky Blinders), Kiran Sonia Sawar (Murdered By My Father), Niamh Algar (The Bisexual) and Anthony Welsh (Black Mirror).

Produced by Jen Kenwood and executive produced by Roanna Benn. The production company is Drama Republic and Manpreet Dosanjh is the commissioning editor for C4 drama.

We will be screening the first 2 episodes. With thanks to Channel 4
