BAFTA TV Preview: Mount Pleasant followed by Q + A with actors and production talent

Filmed on location around Manchester, Mount Pleasant is a new Sky 1 HD comedy drama which follows the not-so-perfect life of 30-something Lisa (Sally Lindsay) and her husband Dan (Daniel Ryan) who are constantly caught up in the complicated lives of their friends, workmates and Lisa's ever-present parents.
Lisa is a real woman in a real marriage living in a real part of Manchester. She has no idea that another woman, Kate (Lisa Tarbuck), is making a play for her husband Dan. On a daily basis Lisa has to fend off her temptress neighbour Bianca (Sian Reeves), at the same time as toying with her own emotions when sexy singleton Jack (Owen McConnell) arrives in town. Lisa navigates the highs and lows with her best friends- and workmates - Shelley (Angela Griffin) and Denise (newcomer, Ainsley Howard). She also remains a loving daughter to her ever-present parents Sue (Pauline Collins) and Barry (Bobby Ball). The screening will be followed by a Q&A with talent including writer Sarah Hooper, director Dewi Humphreys and actor Sally Lindsay.

Both these events are programmed in partnership with Sky 1HD and Manchester Cornerhouse.
