BAFTA Kids TV Preview: Claude

Preview of Disney Junior’s new pre-school animation show, Claude, based on the bestselling books by Alex T Smith featuring the beret-clad dog.

Watch preview episodes of Claude, following the fun adventures of the little beret-clad dog and his best friend, Sir Bobblysock. The programme introduces a colourful bunch of new characters who live with Claude in the seaside town of Pawhaven. Newcomer, 10-year-old Alexander Molony voices the title role whilst Simon Callow, Tameka Empson, Jane Horrocks, Brian Murphy, Bhasker Patel, Su Pollard, Anne Reid and Shane Ritchie also star. Aimed at children aged 4-7, the series has been adapted for television by BAFTA award winning Sixteen South in a 2D hand-drawn style.

In addition to preview episodes, the creative team will take you through the journey of bringing Claude to screen. On stage contributions from author and illustrator, Alex T Smith; art director Angeliki Charenia; animation director Sam Turton; composer Mark Gordon and showrunner Colin Williams.

Children are invited to bring their Claude books for Alex T Smith to sign.
