As part of the Pontio Circus Festival, we'll be screening Kevin Allen's (Twin Town) Welsh language period film Y SYRCAS. A unique film for all the family. Set in 1848, it tells the story of a young girl who is bewitched by the excitement of the travelling circus as it visits her small town in west Wales.

A screening of the feature-length documentary about the story behind the pioneering and influential British heavy metal band Deep Purple as they enter the studio to record their new album. The screening will be followed by an interview with Director Craig Hooper by the Guardian's head rock and pop critic Alexis Petridis.
