Patagonia 150 events series

23 March 2015

Following the success of our Doctor Who Monsters Archive screenings with talent, we are happy to announce a new series of events which will take place in 2015.

To celebrate the 150 year anniversary of the Welsh setting up "Y Wladfa" in Patagonia, BAFTA Cymru will be co-ordinating a series of screenings of Patagonian-related feature films, to be followed by Q&A sessions with the filmmakers.

In partnership with Film Hub Wales, the British Council, Into Film and venues around Wales, the series of screening events will be launched on April 13 with a special screening of Patagonia (2010: Marc Evans), with actors Matthew Rhys, Nia Roberts and others at Chapter Arts Centre. More details here

Public tickets for these events will be on sale from the hosting venues around the country, to include the Aberystwyth Arts Centre, Galeri Caernarfon, Neuadd Buddug (Bala) and there will also be an allocation of free tickets for BAFTA Cymru members and their guests.

Further information will be available later in April.
