RankinBAFTA 195 Piccadilly is looking forward to being joined by EatFilm for one of the highlights of the London Restaurant Festival. Celebrated photographer Rankin, hosts a very special Italian-themed dinner, inspired by cinematic masterpiece, Cinema Paradiso.
After a cocktail on arrival, guests will be seated in the Princess Anne Theatre to watch the film and enjoy a box of gourmet popcorn. After the screening, Rankin will host a three-course dinner which has been created in collaboration with BAFTA 195 Head Chef, Anton Manganaro. Katie HyamsBAFTA 195 Piccadilly was thrilled to be hosting the latest Red Network event on 30 May, which saw Arianna Huffington in conversation with Red editor-in-chief Sarah Bailey on stage in the Princess Anne Theatre. Having founded The Huffington Post, Arianna discussed the ideas in her new book, Thrive: The Third Metric To Redefining Success And Creating A Happier Life, in which she challenges how we define success and encourages a greater focus on wellbeing. BAFTA 195 Piccadilly was proud to be the host venue of a newly launched, unique London-based event: Creative Week. Running from 2-6 June 2014, the event was aimed at everyone working within the worlds of television, film, advertising and media and has the backing of leading industry titles Broadcast, Screen International and shots, as well as reference titles BRAD and ALF. The event consisted of a unique programme of seminars, thought-leadership sessions and social networking opportunities. Twitter, BBC, Sky, Facebook, Warner Bros. Entertainment, YouTube/Google, Channel 4, ITV, The Equality and Human Rights Commission, Creative Skillset and The TV Collective all featured speakers at this exciting event.

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly was pleased to be staging Edible Cinema in conjunction with Soho House and BOMBAY SAPPHIRE™ in May. With a special screening of Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet guests were able to enjoy the screening accompanied by an array of delicious dishes inspired by the film. Hosted in the spectacular Princess Anne Theatre, guests were treated to an edible adventure through the box office smash hit, receiving a selection of numbered boxes at the start of the evening, to be opened and enjoyed at specific points throughout the film.
The event proved incredibly popular and due to popular demand, BAFTA 195 Piccadilly and Edible Cinema will be teaming up for more screenings again later this year. Watch this space!

BAFTA 195 Piccadilly is delighted to be hosting Advertising Week Europe for a second successive year, with the 2013 festival's London debut having proved a great success. From 31 March - 4 April, thousands of the world's brightest creative minds will descend upon London for the world's biggest advertising festival, with BAFTA 195 Piccadilly set to host an array of stimulating seminars from some of the most talented in the industry.
With seminars scheduled from such dynamic companies as Facebook and Spotify, and celebrity speakers such as Idris Elba and Rugby World Cup winner Will Greenwood in the lineup, this year's festival promises to be bigger and better than ever, with all at BAFTA 195 Piccadilly greatly excited to be playing host for the second year running. On Wednesday 19 February, Emerald Street – the daily newsletter from the people behind Stylist – hosted a special reader's screening of the acclaimed Blue Jasmine, Woody Allen's enthralling homage to Tennessee Williams with Kate Blanchett in the lead role. The film has been nominated for no fewer than three EE British Academy Film Awards, and the evening was introduced by BAFTA CEO Amanda Berry.
The film preceded by a Champagne Taittinger reception, with attendees sampling the canapés created by Head Chef Anton for the Film Awards ceremony itself.
